Last night at The Carrot was a great time for me.
Many friends came out to see me play, and that always makes for a better night. I also solved my technical glitches and actually did a lot with my MacBook and Mainstage. It was my first time using Mainstage and my keyboard live, so I was nervous, but it went over so well. A complex set up rarely works for me, so this was a real blessing.
And yes, I did even get to play my banjo. And yes, the crowd did sing along when asked. So thanks again folks.
Jack also told some awesome jokes while I took a tuning break, so if you missed the show, you really missed something special there.
I hope to see you at the Blue Chair next Thursday, where I’ll join forces with Cora McLachlan for a rare treat.
Woot!

If you didn’t already know, be forewarned.
Tonight, I’m playing my first full show in a while, at the Carrot. Almost half of the songs will be new, and I’m bring back my laptop for some interesting sound experiments.
Oh, and did I mention the new banjo?
Show starts at 7:30 and I’d love to have your listening ears. Cover is $5.
